Maya is the first finalist in Nova’s Miss Univers-ity competition.
Next week she’ll find out if she’s won the $25,000+ in prizes including $10,000 cash, laptop, $5,000 off her HECS debt, a $2,000 travel voucher, $1,000 shopping voucher and a whole lot more.
On Tuesday morning she spoke to Hughesy and Kate on Nova 100. Hughesy told her that her stance on young people using drugs helped get her “over the line”.
Ed told Maya she needs to pamper up and pointed out that there was a year’s worth of waxing from Brazillian Butterfly as part of the prize. Hughesy told Maya that Ed was weird.
