In a recent interview with theMusic.com.au, Aussie rap royalty 360 revealed that despite his burgeoning career, he only just stopped receiving Centrelink payments.
The rapper's album, Falling and Flying, has achieved platinum sales and his Gossling collaboration, "Boys Like You", has reached 3x platinum - but it's only now that Matt Colwell is completely financially independent.
He said, “It was a long road, but I got there in the end. People perhaps don’t realise, but I was living on Centrelink payments until very recently – even after the album came out.
"So to now enjoy some success and to be able to show my parents that I did achieve what I set out to do is an incredible feeling."
