The rumours are true - Adam Lambert will step out as the frontman of Queen at a festival appearance this year.
Lambert will appear with Queen at the Sonisphere Festival in June, playing alongside bands including KISS, Faith No More and Refused.
Queen's Brian May said of the decision, "Judging by my incoming mail, this decision will make a lot of people very happy. It's a worthy challenge for us, and I'm sure Adam would meet with Freddie's approval! And what better place to revisit, and walk those emotional paths than Knebworth? It will be a rush."
Lambert called it "surreal" to be playing with Queen, and said that he was "deeply grateful" to be able to sing in the place of one of his heroes.
