Runner up on last year’s American Idol, Adam Lambert, will fly into Sydney next week for an Australian promotional tour.
As we reported yesterday, Lambert’s trip will coincide with the Australian release of his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’ which is released on March 5. ‘For Your Entertainment’ features Lambert’s current single ‘Whataya Want From Me’ which was co-written by P!nk. The Australian version of the album will feature an exclusive bonus track ‘Voodoo’, which is a collaboration with ARIA-nominated singer, Sam Sparro.
On announcing the news Adam said, "I'm really looking forward to seeing Australia and meeting my fans Down Under! I know it’s going to be so much fun!"
Lambert will visit Sydney and Melbourne and highlights of his visit include live performances on So You Think You Can Dance and Sunrise. Lambert will also be signing copies of his album ‘For Your Entertainment’ at HUM on Oxford, Sydney, on Saturday, March 6th from 12pm.
With his out-of-this-world vocal range and unique musical style, Adam Lambert is the ultra-glam, rock superstar that has the world hooked. Lambert’s debut record garnered contributions from such innovative artists as Lady Gaga, P!nk, Muse, Justin Hawkins formerly of The Darkness and Rivers Cuomo of Weezer.
‘For Your Entertainment’ will be available in stores and online on Friday, March 5th.
