Adele won't take five years off after all

Contrary to widely circulated reports, UK songstress Adele will not take five years off music.

Adele told US Vogue, “I’m f***ing off for four or five years." And hence the internet did explode, with many fans disappointed that we might not hear anything from the 21 singer for quite some time.

But now the big-voiced singer has posted on her website, suggesting that she may not actually be taking that much time off after all! She thanked supporters and gushed about the Grammys in a blog post, before self-referentially quipping, "I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"

Hooray! Might not be so long after all before we get some new tunes to swoon over.
