UK songbird Adele's former lover wants to cash in on her success because their break-up inspired her recent work.
Adele's emotional tunes have hit a special chord with fans all over the world and millions of copies of her albums have been snapped up all over the world.
Apparently her former boyfriend has asked for some royalties made from her successful sophomore delivery 21.
She told The Sun she was shocked when he contacted her.
“For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it," she said.
"Finally, I said, ’Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.’
“He really thought he’d had some input into the creative process by being a p**ck. I’ll give him this credit - he made me an adult and put me on the road that I’m travelling.”
