Adele's next album will be "lighter"
A source has revealed that Adele's impending motherhood has had a "big impact" on her, and that we can expect her next studio effort to be "lighter".
Speaking to Us Weekly, the source said, "It will be lighter than her last ode to break up… The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting.
"She is lying low and focusing on becoming a mum. The baby is healthy and she's so excited."
Adele's previous albums have included some heartbreaking songs about the ends of relationships, such as "Someone Like You" and "Rolling In The Deep" - so if this news is true, the ensuing album will be a definite change i direction.
The 24-year-old singer and her boyfriend, 36-year-old Simon Konecki, are expecting their first baby together by the end of the year.
