Australia’s own Amy Meredith is set to headline the Heineken Live Stage at Grand Slam Oval and take Australian Open 2011 to a whole new level.
Fresh off the back of their massive 18 show Restless tour, supporting Grinspoon on their Six To Midnight tour and Stereophonics’ Keep Calm Carry On world tour, Amy Meredith will bring their ARIA Award nominating sounds to Grand Slam Oval for the men’s finals alongside Lisa Mitchell for the women’s.
Amy Meredith is expected to attract more than the tennis crowd, with music lovers guaranteed to be served up massive hits from their debut album Restless, which reached number eight on the ARIA Albums Chart. “Pornstar” and “Young At Heart” will be blasted out of the Heineken Live Stage alongside Meredith’s top ten single “Lying” as the nation’s iconic tennis tournament discovers its final scores for 2011.
