Amy Winehouse's ex-husband in coma
Blake Fielder-Civil, the ex-husband of the late Amy Winehouse, is in a coma after reportedly being found choking in his bed last Friday.
The Guardian reports that Fielder-Civil was taken to hospital with multiple organ failure after an apparent binge on drugs and alcohol.
He was put into an induced coma and is on life support.
Fielder-Civil's partner, Sarah Aspin, told The Sun, "The doctors said they put him in a coma to help him and due to infection. I'm praying he'll survive, but I'm having to prepare myself that he may never wake up."
Winehouse's father, Mitch, wrote on Twitter, "Terrible news about Blake this morning. Remember Amy loved him. Let's pray for his recovery."
Fielder-Civil and Winehouse were married from 2007 to 2009.
