The book, Amy, My Daughter, will contain letters written while away on tour such as the following, according to the New York Post:
"Dear Daddy, I love you so much and can't wait to see you again in a few weeks... I'm working, and I haven't spent a penny. A few thousand dollars have gone, but no pennies as such. I'm joking."
The book also details Winehouse's drug addiction and her relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, of whom Mitch Winehouse did not approve.
"Long before Amy was an addict, no one could tell her what to do," he writes. "Once she became an addict, her stubbornness just got worse. There were times when she wanted to be clean, but the times when she didn't outnumbered them."
Amy, My Daughter is released June 26.
