Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning line up for Maleficent

Dakota Fanning's little sister, Elle, is in talks to star opposite Angelina Jolie in Maleficent.

Maleficent takes the character of the same name from the classic Sleeping Beauty story, and will tell the story from her perspective.

Earlier this month Angelina confirmed she would be taking on the role of Maleficent and it looks like Elle Fanning could be the next star to sign on.

Elle would play Princess Aurora who is suckered into a long slumber by Maleficent.

Robert Stromberg will make his debut as director on the film.

Maleficent is currently penciled in for a 2013 released.
