The seeds have been set for the Australian Open 2010.
Heading up the men’s seeds is world No.1 and 15 time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer while defending women’s singles champion, Serena Williams is the No.1 seed in the women’s draw.
The top Aussie seed is Sam Stosur (at 13), while Lleyton Hewitt is the top Aussie among the men at 22.
Llyeton's ex, Kim Clijsters is ranked a fair way outside her ability at No.15, while fellow comeback girl (and former Australian Open champion) Justine Henin is unseeded. Both are among the favourites to win the event but their world ranking (and therefore their seeding) is yet to reflect their ability.
