Base jumpers skip out on bill

It's been revealed that the base jumpers that made headlines after jumping from the Rialto Towers skipped out on their cocktail bill.

The daredevils entered Vue de Monde wearing parachutes under their jackets and carrying suitcases.

They ordereder cocktails, drank them, then jumped from the 55th story balcony before paying their bar bill.

"One went to the bathroom, followed by the rest, straight out to the balcony and pretty much jumped straight off," the restaurant owner said.

"I have no regrets — I'll do it again," one of the jumpers told the Herald Sun.

The men are yet to be identified.
