The Black Eyed Peas’ smash track "I Gotta Feeling” was the biggest-selling song on iTunes Australia over the last half-decade.
In an exclusive iTunes poll unveiled on Nova's airways through the Easter break, the iTunes Top 500 unveiled the 500 most wanted (and downloaded) songs right cross the country over the last five years.
In addition to nabbing the peak position, the Peas also secured position #15 with "The Time (Dirty Bit), #32 with their 2009 smash "Boom Boom Pow" and spot #53 with their hit “Meet Me Halfway."
"Dynamite" by Taio Cruz secured the highly sought-after second position, while the third spot was snapped up by pop tart Ke$ha's 2009 monster track "Tik Tok."
The self-declared party animal features on the Top 100 list four times, also nabbing spot 17 with "We R Who We R", #71 with her ode to trannies all over the world, "Take It Off," as well as position #87 with "Your Love Is My Drug."
Despite only appearing for the first time in position #23, Lady Gaga features among the Top 100 most downloaded tracks a record six times – more than any other artist or group in the first 100 spots.
“Poker Face” nabbed position # 23, “Just Dance” sits in spot #30, “Bad Romance” finished in position #38, "Telephone” is in the 48th position, “Born This Way” is listed at #48and ”Paparazzi” finished in spot #81.
Katy Perry and Rihanna both made five appearances among the Top 100 songs of the iTunes Top 500 list, booty-lover Flo Rida finished with four songs among the Top 100, while R n B king Usher and hot-as-anything rapper B.o.B both feature among the Top 100 tracks three times each.
