Blink 182 goes independent
Pop punk legends Blink 182 have split from their record label, meaning that they're now an unsigned act.
Guitarist and singer Tom Delonge wrote on Twitter, "Freedom!! Blink as of today, is now an independent Artist!!!!!"
The band was signed to Interscope Records for the release of last year's Neighborhoods, and previously was under the Geffen roster.
Blink 182 has started work on a new album and will make their way to Australia for the first time in almost a decade in 2013, as a part of the Soundwave festival.
