ROAD CLOSED due to dam release and subsequent flooding .. Youngs Crossing Rd - Petrie (release from the North Pine Dam)

ROAD CLOSED due to flooding.. Rosewood-Warrill View Rd - Rosewood

ROAD CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING.. Haigslea-Amberley Rd is closed between Short St and Hansens Rd - Walloon

WATER ACROSS THE ROAD.. Logie Rd - Beerburrum (Caution) . Moggill Ferry services not operating until further notice

BRISBANE CITY - ADELAIDE STREET 02:19 AM 25/01/2012
Due to current severe weather conditions and heavy rain within the Brisbane Metropolitan Area, there are many roads being affected by excess water. Motorists are advised that some roads may be impassable and should not be traversed. Non-essential travel should be postponed. Extreme caution should be used whilst travelling on all roads during this weather event.

BRISBANE CITY - COUNTESS STREET 02:04 AM 25/01/2012
There is no access to Countess Street from Kelvin Grove Road due to water over road. Diversions are in place via College Road.

CARINA - CREEK ROAD (CREEK ROAD SERVICE ROAD) 05:12 AM 25/01/2012
Creek Road is closed due to water over the road near South Richmond Road.

KENMORE HILLS - GAP CREEK ROAD 05:12 PM 24/01/2012
Gap Creek Rd is currently closed due to water over the road. Motorist are advised to seek an alternative route.

LARAPINTA - PARADISE ROAD (LOGAN MOTORWAY) 05:16 AM 25/01/2012
Paradise Road is closed due to water over the road.

RIPLEY - CUNNINGHAM HIGHWAY ON RAMP (CUNNINGHAM HIGHWAY) 06:06 PM 10/01/2012
Due to bridge repairs the Cunningham Hwy will be closed westbound at Ripley Rd. Heavy vehicles are advised to detour via the Warrego Hwy. All other vehicles will be detoured via the Ripley Rd on and off-ramps. The Ripley Rd overpass will have a contra flow in place with no access for heavy vehicles.

SHELDON - MOUNT COTTON ROAD 06:48 PM 24/01/2012
Mt Cotton Rd is closed due to water over the road. Traffic is being diverted by Woodlands Rd.

TINGALPA - WYNNUM ROAD (EXIT 100, GATEWAY ARTERIAL ROAD) 05:13 AM 25/01/2012
Wynnum Road is closed due to water over the road near Hemmant Tingalpa Road.

Manly Road near New Cleveland Road is closed due to water over the road.

There is water over the road at Edmondstone Road, Bowen Hills. The road is closed for eastbound traffic.

BRISBANE CITY - ADELAIDE STREET 10:43 AM 24/01/2012
Due to the significant rain event there is localised flooding on roads throughout the metropolitan region. Exercise caution.

CARSELDINE - BEAMS ROAD 12:15 PM 24/01/2012
There is water over the road on Beams Rd at Dorville Rd, Carseldine. One westbound lane is closed. RIPLEY -

CUNNINGHAM HIGHWAY ON RAMP (CUNNINGHAM HIGHWAY) 06:06 PM 10/01/2012

7:20am - There's a flash flood warning out for areas from Rockhampton right down to the New South Wales border. Rainfall of up to 150ml is expected over the next 24 hours. Beerburrum has already had 120ml since 9am yesterday. Flooding in Rocklea has closed Donaldson Road between Dunn Road and Collinisvale Street and in Larapita, Paradise Road is under.
