The 2012 BRIT Award nominations have just dropped and Ed Sheeran, Adele and Jessie J are the ones who are looking like safe bets to go home with a statue with Ed nabbing 4 nominations and the girls getting 3 a piece.
Ed Sheeran has had a pretty productive year and features in categories including Best British Male Solo Act, Best Breakthrough Act and British Album of the Year. Adele will be competing for Best British Female Solo Act and Album of The Year, whilst Jessie J will also be battling it out for Album of The Year too and for and British Breakthrough Act.
The three frontrunners will all go head to head for Best British Single too.
Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, Rihanna and Noel Gallagher are all expcted to perform at this year's BRITs on February 21, which should also see thr triumphant live return of Adele who hasn't belted out a live performance since suffering a vocal cord haemorrhage in October.
