Britney close to signing $15 million deal with The X Factor

TMZ reports that a deal has been struck between Britney and the show which will see her walk away with a cool $15 million for one season's work.

Simon Cowell - creator and judge of The X Factor - told TMZ that he would love to have her on the show. I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to."

Britney will replace Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on the show, who were booted after just one season. 

If Britney signs the deal, he father must sign off on it, then it must go to the judge overseeing her conservatorship for final sign off.
