Spears has been under a conservatorship since February 2008, but until now her dad, Jamie Spears, had been in control.
Now Trawick is stepping in to help out.
A conservatorship allows the conservator to take control of an individual's life decisions including finances, medical treatment and even the food they eat.
According to Trawick's attorney, the request to make him a co-conservator of Britney came at the singer's request, which makes sense considering they're getting married.
The conservatorship will remain in place until a Judge is convinced Spears is healthy enough to assume responsibility for her own affairs.
