There are more Bronco injury worries with Matt Gillett out for four to six weeks.
Gillett was going to take an early guilty plea on a dangerous contact charge from Sunday's game which would have insured he would be right to play this Friday night against the Bulldogs.
But a strain suffered in the win over the Sharks was worse than first thought and will see him out not only for Friday, but up to the next six rounds.
In a strange coincidence, the knee injury (medial ligament damage) is identical to the one halfback Peter Wallace suffered in the same game. He faces equal time on the sideline.
Prop Nick Kenny, who was to return from injury for last weekend's game, only to suffer a torn calf muscle at training on Saturday, is out for three to four weeks.
