Celebrities are throwing cash at transport companies to get back on the road as planes still refuse to fly through Iceland's ash cloud.
Dozens of celebrities have been forced to cancel concerts and movie premieres as air traffic has ground to a halt in the wake of Eyjafjallajokull's eruption.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth can't make the British premiere of their flick The Last Song, Katie Price is stuck in Egypt and Adam Lambert and Usher have missed promotional tours.
The Iron Man 2 London premiere has been postponed as well as a Cheryl Cole concert in Madrid.
Meanwhile, some celebs are doing whatever they can to get back on the road.
Whitney Houston took a three-hour ferry from England to Dublin to make a gig over there, WWE wrestlers took a 17-hour ferry from France to Ireland to make it back for an event and John Cleese spent nearly $5000 on taxi drivers to shuttle him from Oslo to Brussels.
