Celebs use Twitter and Facebook to raise awareness for social issues
Huge celebrities are using their influential positions to help raise awareness and funds to assist children in East Africa.
Lady Gaga, Eminem, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Shakira, Sting and Kanye West are just a few artists that have committed to using their Facebook and Twitter accounts today (August 9) to help spread awareness.
The celebs will be encouraging fans to donate to Save The Children charity, which will supply vital food, water and medicine to people in need.
The goal of the project is to reach 700 million people worldwide.
