Last week Cher Lloyd – pictured leaving the ITV Studios in London on Monday afternoon - made the fatal error of taking a pop at her former X Factor mentor, Cheryl Cole during a live radio interview.
We won’t bore you with the exact details because we’re sure you already know what she said and if you don’t, where the hell have you been?
So anyway, a few days later the 18-year-old singer appeared on Daybreak and apologised for her comments claiming they were ‘word vomit.’
At the time we thought that was the end of the matter, but when Cher appeared on This Morning yesterday she felt the need to apologise yet again.
She said, “I think I really did put my foot in it and now I've realised that what I said was wrong, obviously, and I said sorry.”
She then added, “And I think it got fully taken out of context, but I think I understand now that you need to be on form and be aware of what you're saying all the time.”
Wait; how the hell did it get taken out of context? It wasn’t an edited interview, it was live, why can’t she just admit she was wrong and leave it at that instead of trying to shift the blame?
Cher continued, “I do owe her, but how I see it is the X Factor was a great platform for me and she really did help me and I'm very grateful.
“I wouldn't say that I wasn't grateful for what she had given me - the opportunity that she had given me, putting me through and things like that - but I feel like from here, it's down to me to do as best as I possibly can.”
Oh Cher, make your bloody mind up.
