The Voice host Darren McMullen revealed on The Voice Radio Show on Nova FM last night how the closing stages of The Voice will work with barely two weeks left until the final.
“Next Monday’s show is going to be the biggest we’ve had to date,” Darren said.
“Obviously we’ll be losing two members of Team Keith and Team Joel at the start, then we’ll have our eight semi finalists who will be singing their little hearts out to impress their coaches because at the end of that show we will be picking our four finalists.
“Our coaches will be choosing which person they want to go forward and represent their team in the final at the end of next week’s show.”
Team Delta and Team Seal’s semi finalists are already chosen.
It means at the end of next week’s show, Delta Goodrem will have to choose whether Rachael Leahcar or Glenn Cunningham is her team’s representative in the final.
Seal will be choosing whether Karise Eden or Fatai Veamatahau goes on to the final episode a week later.
The other two teams – Team Joel and Team Keith – will go from four remaining artists down to two, and then down to one all in the space of next week’s show.
“It’s going to be absolutely huge, make sure you tune in and watch it Channel 9 Monday night, 7.30pm,” Darren said.
The final of The Voice is a week later on Monday 18 June. We’re expecting the first winner of The Voice Australia to be decided by public voting throughout next week and then be announced at the end of the final.
