The world of diva feuds continues to spin, this round seeing Hole rocker Courtney Love taking aim at Lily Allen.
The feud began with a Twitter tirade from Love, where she blasted Allen for alledgedly blocking all stars from wearing Chanel to the Brit Awards a few weeks back.
Last week's NME awards were reported to have fueled the fire, with reports emerging that Allen left in tears following a heated conversation with Love.
Allen, an ambassador for Chanel, has hit back at those reports, however, offering her own explanation for the events. She tweeted:
"just clearing a couple of things up. Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NME'S. There was an exchange of words, yes"
"she's upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the brit awards. she's made no secret of this and,"
"when i saw her at the NME'S she tried to talk to me and i told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me."
"and thats pretty much it. i would never fight with her , as a rule i don't pick on crazy old ladies ."
We'll wait for Love's retaliation, however it looks like she's already moved on to Edward Norton.
