Melbourne's Custom Kings have confirmed the release of a new album and tour.
The band confirmed this morning that they have returned to the studio to begin recording the follow-up to 2007's debut album At Sea. Their second album will be called Great Escape.
Scheduled for an August release date, the band have promised an album complete with "musical journeys and intelligent, whimsical story telling" and "driving moments that channel late 60’s/early 70’s California and early 90’s US indie pop".
Custom Kings will showcase material from Great Escape via select tour dates through June and July.
