Dangi Fever grips Sydney as crowd gets ready to greet world’s shortest man at airport

Dangi – the world’s shortest man at 54.6cm – will be greeted by at least a busload of people gripped with Dangi Fever when he touches down at Sydney airport on Sunday night.

Fitzy and Wippa will drive the ‘Dangi Bus’ from Nova 969 to the airport in time for Dangi’s arrival at 6.10pm.

Everyone on board the bus will get a Dangi pack complete with Dangi Fever t-shirt and 54.6cm ruler.

Nova was swamped with callers this morning wanting a spot on the bus.

But everyone is invited to be at the airport to meet Dangi, have a photo with him and give him a huge Sydney welcome.

His flight is on Etihad Airways, due to arrive at the Sydney International terminal at 6.10pm (we'll communicate via our Facebook and Twitter accounts if times change).

Fitzy, Wippa and Nova staff and listeners will be in the main arrivals area waiting for the big moment when they meet him for the first time.

Dangi’s spending all next week with Fitzy and Wippa, who will show him all the sights and sounds of Sydney.
