British glam rockers The Darkness have announced that they'll return to Australian shores in May.
UPDATE 13/04: Due to popular demand, the band has added an extra Melbourne date and will also stop in Adelaide.
The band, who split up in 2006, returned with a bombastic single, "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us", earlier this year.
Their last Australian visit was in 2008, albeit not with the original line-up - but they're all back now and ready to rock Oz in May.
The guys have a new album slated for release sometime later in the year, so we can expect new tunes as well as the classics, including "I Believe In A Thing Called Love".
Tickets are on sale 9am Wednesday April 4.
