Demi Lovato offers dating advice

Demi Lovato has taken to her Twitter account to offer her fans some dating advice.

"If he wants to talk to you, HE will call/text you," she wrote. "If he doesn’t, then he doesn’t want to. Never call the guy first. #datingproblems"

She followed up her first tweet with further advice, "The hard part is waiting for that moment if you really like them.. or getting disappointed when your phone rings and it’s not him.”

Unfortunately for Demi, however, her advice wasn't considered helpful by many, with a backlash coming in the form of a plethora of tweets opposing her comments.

"Oh jesus people, don’t get your panties in a wad," Lovato tweeted. "I’m not being sexist, I’m being old-fashioned. Can’t ever say sh** on this thing."
