Lady Gaga is on tour at the moment and there's news that she's working on her new album in a mini-studio on a tour bus while she's overseas.
NovaFM's Merrick, Dools & Ricki-Lee however, beg to differ. As Ricki-Lee pointed out in her music news segment, they saw the mini studio set-up in her backstage dressing room area. Dools explained exactly what they saw.
"It's a keyboard and like a big Mac computer screen - you know, one of those badass ones. When I say keyboard I don't mean QWERTY row, I mean Ebony and Ivory. This is the other thing; when we did the interview, it was only us and one other group of people that interviewed her and for some reason the interview was right infront of all this recording equipment. She said "I just love being here, I get inspired by my fans, whenever inspiration hits me I can just go there.""
"What she didn't know was that when we were setting up we had to unplug some stuff in order to get our equipment going. We've looked around and there's no speakers. Look, I'm not a musician, I don't claim to be a musician but I would like to think I have a loose grasp on what it is. No speakers and no mouse; now if you're using something like Pro Tools, you would require a mouse and a speaker in order to hear what you're editing and making."
So, are the stories true? Does Gaga actually record music in a mini-studio when she's on tour? Dools and Ricki-Lee say no. It makes us wonder about the pink pubes on the mannequin in the corner of her dressing. Surely THAT couldn't be fake or just there for effect? Bloody hell... we thought it was her personal assistant. Oh, the harsh slap of reality!
Over to you Gaga.
