Dominic Monaghan has revealed he provoked Megan Fox to help elicit strong reactions from the actress while filming the video for Eminem and Rihanna's "Love The Way You Lie".
The controversial video depicts a fiery relationship between Fox and Monaghan with their passion swinging between violent and sexual from scene to scene.

Speaking with EOnline.com Monaghan explained the process he worked through during the shoot, "You try to make it as real as possible. I tried as hard as I can to find things that would press [Fox's] buttons and use those to get her angry. I wanted her to be on me and smack the hell out of me, which she proceeded to do.

"I busted myself up punching the walls, punching the mirror and all that kind of stuff. You come home at night and you're tired. You don't go home at night feeling all stoked that you got to make out with some cute girl," Monaghan revealed.
"Love The Way You Lie" is currently sitting at #1 on the ARIA singles chart.
