Nova’s national Summer Breakfast host, and regular Nova dude in Melbourne Dylan Lewis is going to be co-host of Channel Ten’s Video Hits next year. Go Dylan!
Here’s the media release that Ten put out to announce it…
Network Ten is pleased to announce that respected radio and television host Dylan Lewis will join Video Hits as co-host from January 2010.
A talented musician and entertainer, Dylan has been a popular figure in the Australian music and entertainment industry for more than ten years. Initially shooting to fame as host of ABC's cult music show Recovery, he then went on to front ABC's The 10.30 Slot and Pepsi Live on Network Ten.
For the past three years, Dylan has been an announcer on Nova 100, winning the ACRA Award for Best Music Personality this year, his second ACRA since joining NOVA in 2007 [first was Best Newcomer in 2007].
Dylan will team up with his Video Hits co-host Faustina 'Fuzzy' Agolley for the first time in January 2010 as they broadcast live from Big Day Out festival in New Zealand.
Dylan Lewis says, "Video Hits is my dream job, and Fuzzy is my dream co-host - I'm so excited about this new adventure that I might burst!"
Rachel Moor, Video Hits Executive Producer says, "The Video Hits team are so excited to be welcoming Dylan to the fold. I've personally been a fan of Dylan's work for many years, and am thrilled to have him join us in 2010."
Video Hits screens Saturday and Sunday at 8.30am on Network Ten.
