The new Twilight: Eclipse movie is turning staid critics into Twi-hards who lavish nothing but praise on the third film in the franchise.
Having launched in the US last week, the new movie has been well received by critics who have labelled it the best Twilight movie yet.
There's more shirtless Taylor Lautner action, more Robert Pattinson as Edward and a bigger budget than ever before.
Movie bible Variety says "Eclipse focuses on what works - the stars - even as the series' parent-friendly abstinence message begins to unravel."
Kristen Stewart manages to impress via her love triangle, which critics say works because of the consequences her decision may have.
The Hollywood Gossip say it is "far more than typical teenage angst.
"This is Bella needing to make a decision, the ramifications of which will impact all the lives around her.
"When Jacob and Edward agree to an alliance in order to protect the girl they love, even men in the audience might stand up and cheer. It's exciting, selfless stuff."
The movie is also praised for having a sense of humour at times and for the exciting use of special effects during the final showdown between werewolves and vampires.
Most of the criticism concerns the pairing of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, but generally the installment seems to be the best one yet.
Twilight: Eclipse opens in cinemas July 1, but there are midnight screenings tonight for rabid Twi-hards.
