The rumours are true: Ellen DeGeneres is launching her own record label.
After casting 12-year-old "Paparazzi" star Greyson Chance into the global spotlight recently, DeGeneres was inspired to focus on her music instinct much more seriously.
The chat show host and American Idol judge is kicking off a new record label called eleveneleven and the first act is apparently YouTube sensation, little Greyson, despite rumours that circulated last week about a record deal with Interscope.
In a recent interview with Greyson, DeGeneres told him she knew he had a special spark. "When I first met you, I said things are going to change," she told Chance during a recent interview. "Now (your YouTube hits) are over 30 million. How are you feeling about it all?"
"It's crazy thinking about 30 million people," Greyson told DeGeneres. "It just makes me happy. It really just hasn't sunken in yet ... It's awesome."
