Almost losing her finger in a motorcyle accident hasn't killed the daredevil inside Erin McNaught.
The former Miss Australia and now MTV VJ has embarked on a year packed full with activities that would send most people running for cover.
She has skydiving firmly on her daredevil list, as well as a plethora of nerve-wracking live hosting gigs.
"I think now I just have a little more to lose, I'm a little bit more cautious," she said.
"Every time I see an ad for skydiving I really want to do it again, but it's just one of those things that will have to wait."
The 28-year-old had her index finger reattached in November after it was partially severed when a motorbike fell on her hand while filming a segment for Cybershack.
She almost has full use of it again thanks to extensive physiotheraphy and is extremely grateful to hospital staff who worked closely with her.
"The surgeon was incredible, I owe so much to the people over there," she said.
Since McNaught joined MTV in September she has been consistently pushing her own boundaries with nerve-wracking live hosting gigs.
Next week she will join fellow MTV presenter Ruby Rose to present at the ASTRA awards, which recognises the best in subscription TV, including Rose who is up for Favourite Personality.
"Sometimes I get really nervous and it can be for the smallest thing and then other times I can be in front of 5000 people and be okay," she said.
"I think it's just a matter of preparation, as long as I know what I'm going to say and I'm comfortable with where I'm standing on the stage and everything."
The Antz Pantz model's fearlessness has also been recognised with a nomination in Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun Fearless Female awards.
And although she's in with a chance, she insists it's just nice to recognised in something other than a men's magazine poll.
"Of course it's nice to be recognised for everything you do, but now I'm in TV and modelling more, it's nice to be recognised for that."
The ASTRA Awards will be held in Sydney on June 24. Voting closes today. Get your vote in here.
