You gotta love technology and the way stars are using it to their advantage.
Take Patrick Stump for example. The Fall Out Boy frontman was getting sick of some of the rumours surrounding his solo project so he took to the internet to tell his side of the story on a few things.
He was quoted as saying his record would be a type of "outside folk" but he now says: "It's basically an R&B album but as they say, 'Talking about music is like dancing about architecture...' You'll have to just hear yourself. 'Outsider folk' was a mis-quote. I said 'Outsider funk', but it's not even really that anymore."
In regards to whether Patrick has had some help on this record he says: "I'm still playing everything on the record and it's almost done."
A few industry celebs had tweeted about being in the studio with Stump so he also took the chance to clear up just what roles people are playing in this project. "Mike Fasano (session muso for Warrant, Tiger Army, Guns n Roses) isn't playing on the record either, he's my drum tech, and a damn good one," Stump said. "Matt Rubano (Taking Back Sunday) is playing in my band, he's a genius, but he is not playing on the record.
It sounds like he means business. Is anyone excited for this?
