The Fast Five... “Undefeated” – Jason Derulo

1)      “Undefeated” was writing while Jason Derulo was recovering from a broken neck that he sustained while rehearsing for his tour that he was forced to cancel. “Undefeated” is a song about recovering from the incident.

2)      “Undefeated” will be on his forthcoming album by the same name. He wrote the album and has been planning a brand new tour while out of action with a broken neck. The old tour was abandoned with Derulo wanting to start fresh.

3)      Jason Derulo is currently dating Jodan Sparks

4)      The song was debuted on American Idol (Where Phillip Phillips was crowned the winner). Fans helped him write and add lyrics to the song via the reality show.

5)      The lyrics that were written by the fans include “Can't change the past no matter how I try”, “Cause this might be my last chance”, “Yesterday's gone, I've found my way somehow” and “There's no time for fear, you only live once”
