Finch and all-rounder Andrew McDonald finished with an unbeaten stand of 66, when the Vics needed 48 off the last four overs.
“Batting conditions were quite good today, the outfield was lightning fast and the boundaries are quite small so it helped a lot,” Finch told Nova after the match.
“Batting with guys like David Hussey and Andrew McDonald was fantastic.”
