Fitzy and Wippa's awesome way to celebrate Aussie gold

They’re going to be taking their Aussie pride to the streets of Sydney … dressed as boxing kangaroos!

But it’s not just for Fitzy and Wippa, the boys have organised 30 kangaroo suits so everyone else can get involved too.

Every time an Aussie wins gold at the Olympics, Fitzy, Wippa and Nova listeners will run through a Sydney suburb dressed as boxing kangaroos for a ‘Hop of Honour’.

UPDATE: No gold since Saturday but we're hopping again today (Thursday 2 August) anyway to fire up the Aussies! Meet at midday at St Johns Park opposite the Town Hall in Parramatta... get your boxing kangaroo suit on and you could also win $1,000 (first 30 people only). 

A few of the Nova boxing kangaroos have already made their way around the Nova studio and even been hanging out in the Shire.

Now they just need an Aussie gold and another 20-something friends for their first ‘Hop of Honour’.
