I felt this week for the first time that I was starting to see and feel the benefits of the work we have done so far.
It was important in the first couple of weeks to be measured in the work I was doing and although I have been pretty sore from the weights and chin-ups I feel like I have successfully navigated those tough initial workouts where you body is asking "What the hell are you doing to me !".
I saw Jess twice this week on Monday and Friday and although the Boot Camp was postponed due to weather on Wednesday I still managed to get into the gym on Tuesday also for a session by myself.
Because I have been recovering from a leg injury I have not done any legs yet so its been pretty much upper body, and this week we again focused on different muscle groups on different days. I also did 15 minutes hard on the stationary bike and a fair bit of stretching Tuesday to iron out any soreness from the previous day.
I am pretty much the same weight which I think will not change over the 12 week, but as Jess said today, hopefully we are saying goodbye to some Fat and welcoming a a fair bit of muscle tone!
