I'm down 7 kilos and keen to shed more in the final fortnight.
I haven't felt this physically and mentally fit since I was 18 and I NEVER want to go back to the old 'Ange'. I have a lots of energy and feel more confident. My motivation has been week by week fitting into clothes I never thought I would again and of course the 'skinny' compliments!
I work out 6 days a week. Mondays and Fridays I do my own cardio (interval) and weights session at the gym. Tuesday and Thursday I catch up with my personal trainer Dan Hooper. Wednesdays the Nova team do a boot camp. Fridays I swim 1.5 kilometres. Saturdays is RPM. Sundays - I'm SHATTERED!
The training sessions with PT Dan have been getting harder as we push me to my limits. We've done a lot of work on the gym floor - weights, cardio and core but we've also been mixing it up to include kettle bell and TRX sessions. The varied program Dan has put together has kept me on track. I mentioned to him in Week 1 that I had a short attention span and accomodated that. Also having a PT makes me more accountable - it's like having a teacher to answer to with weekly measurements a true indicator of progress.
I'm also on a high protein diet - lots of eggs, chicken, fish and vegetables. I haven't touched fast food and no longer have cravings for it!
The 12 week challenge is something everyone should do at least once in their life to regain control of their life. I've become the BEST ME and I'll never look back!
