Chandra Bahadur Dangi, the world's shortest man at 54.6cm, told Mel he was pleased to have a new life since being discovered as the world's shortest man in February.
"I am happy, I was bored before," he told her. "Now I can travel and meet people. My name is in books. This is a better life now."
Dangi is 72 years old and lives in a modest house with 11 family members in a remote village in Nepal. They have very limited electricity. He worked by making head straps for local porters and until February he had never been in a plane or visited Nepal's major city Kathmandu.
