After confusing many a jetlagged celebrity with its strange scheduling, Hey Hey It's Saturday will actually screen on Saturdays again.
From October 16 the retro show will move to a 7:30pm Saturday timeslot so a whole new generation of parents can torture their children with ye olde "family variety hour" on the night they should be getting their party on.
Host Daryl Sommers said the show was moving at the demand of fans. We reckon a few confused celebs might have had something to do with it too.
"We've heard the message loud and clear - viewers want to see Hey Hey back where it belongs on Saturday nights," he said.
"We can't wait to get back to the timeslot we enjoyed for so many years.
"Saturday nights are perfectly suited to the unscripted, unpredictable fun that Hey Hey is all about. Whether you're a family with young kids or on your way out to a party, we promise to offer our own unique brand of home-grown entertainment that everyone can enjoy."
Really? Do people watch Hey Hey as a pre-clubbing ritual? We'd love to see Corey Worthington sitting down for a bit of that action!
