What happens when one rapper calls out another on YouTube?
When Perth’360 uploaded a YouTube video calling on his rap brethren to start an online 'Rap Cipher' Rapper Tag was born.
To make a 'Rap Cipher' work online, 360 came up with the idea of videoing each rhyme and then 'tagging' another rapper at the end. So after laying down the first verse himself, 360 tagged The Herd’s Urthboy, meaning he was the next person to get involved in Rapper Tag. Urthboy responded, tagged Brad Strut and the ball was well and truly rolling.
Since its creation rapper tag has seen the likes of Drapht, Bias B, and Adelaide’s Suffa (Hilltop Hoods), Sesta (Funkoars), K21, Vents and more getting involved.
