Rap's favourite bad boy is being sued for $9 million by a New York man who lists himself as homeless.
Stephen Lee Pieck has filed charges against Em, claiming that he gave the rapper the idea for the Emmy Award-winning "Born of Fire" Chrysler Super Bowl commercial from February 2011.
Pieck alleges that he was at a Legal Seafood restaurant in New York in September 2010 with Christina Aguilera and Jordon Bratman, and that Aguilera rang Eminem and handed the phone over to Pieck.
He claims that he then gave Eminem the idea for the ad.
The handwritten lawsuit reads, "I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million... I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did.”
Pieck listed two numbers on the lawsuit. One went to his mother's house and when contacted, she refused to provide details; the other went to a mobile phone, the owner of which hung up when called.
The plot thickens...
