After competing in the semi-finals at the Sydney Opera House, 12-year-old Jack from QLD has made it into the final of Junior Masterchef, competing against Greta from WA.
In an all boy Semi-final Jack, Harry and Zac had to design and create their own five star signature menu.
For the mains Harry chose rabbit which he has only cooked once before, Jack attempted a smoking technique for his lamb that he had never attempted while Zac created a seafood dish.
For desert Zac struggled with her meringues while jack went with a deconstructed Black Forest cake and Harry made white chocolate raspberry friands.
With Jack’s dish impressing the judges the most, it landed him the opportunity to go head-to-head with Greta for the title of Junior Masterchef 2011 sending Zac and Harry home.
Zac remained positive about his experiance, saying "I'm not disapointed at all, I have achieved so much more than i ever thought was possible. Not only has my cooking improved but I have loved learning about the production side of making a television series." he said.
While Harry said of the judges, "The judges were so helpful, kind and nice. George is funny and loved to play soccer with the kids at lunchtime. They were always there is we needed help and Anna was so lovely to me, especially when we were in the US and she knew that my mum wasn't there."
The Junior Masterchef Grand Final takes place Wednesday Night at 7:30pm on Ten
