Jason Trawick applies to share legal control over Britney
We thought Britney’s dad was going to completely relinquish his legal control over the singer – which was put in place by a judge following the star’s meltdown – once she got married to Jason Trawick.
But obviously not so, according to reports Britney’s husband-to-be, who’s also her former manager, has applied to be her co-conservator which means, if needs be, he’ll be able to make decisions over her food, clothing and medical care - but not her finances, thankfully. A legal expert in the US had this to say about the move:
“Generally you don't see conservatees get married”
"This could be a sign that the couple's wedding is around the corner. This is probably a compromise between Britney, her father and Trawick to get the marriage off on the right foot. Obviously, her future husband needs to have a say in her well being."
Yes, but having the legal right to essentially control her seems just plain wrong if you ask us.
