Jennifer Aniston has taken out a restraining order on a violent offender who laid in wait for her with duct tape and a sharp object.
Jason Peyton has previously stabbed himself and beat his mother with a golf club and has been placed on psychiatric hold after targeting Aniston.
Police say he drove across the country and spent eight days trying to find Aniston, prowling around a place she frequents before he was busted by cops on July 15.
A police report states he was "laying in wait in a location he believes she frequents with a sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape and written messages about [Aniston]."
"Peyton is an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker - with a history of violence and criminal stalking - who drove cross-country in his delusional 'mission' to locate and marry [Aniston], with whom he believes he is in a relationship."
Peyton is still being held but when released will have to stay away from Aniston's home, places of work and car. He also can't go near her employees, agents, managers or other reps.
TMZ reports that Peyton, 24, left a note for his dad on June 25 saying he was leaving Pennsylvania to look for Aniston.
His mum called the cops.
According to the website, the case is being taken very seriously due to the man's violent nature and the LAPD's Threat Management Unit is involved.
