The cast of the Jersey Shore have been warned they could be fired if they continue to strike over pay.
The reality television stars are refusing to tape new footage for the show because they feel they have been duped into a third season.
The guidos and guidettes agreed to a nice $10,000 an episode for season two shot in Miami.
But they feel they're being screwed because producers want them, under the existing contract, to go back to the Jersey Shore and shoot another installment, which is likely to become season three.
The cast are currently on strike, but 495 Productions is trying to end the strike by telling media they'll get the chop.
"The show is not about famous rich people with managers coming to the Shore," one crew member told TMZ.
Adding salt to the wound, the producers have been waving money at show favourite Mike 'The Situation' because they want him on board for season four.
They've offered him and him only a one-time bonus for season two of between $60,000 to $180,000 depending on ratings.
And if he signs on for season four, he'll get a nice pay rise to $27,000 to $45,000 per episode.
Understandably it has the rest of the cast ready to fist pump the producers right in their nose. Hope the cameras are rolling on this showdown!
