Jessica Simpson gives birth to baby girl

Baby Maxwell Drew Johnson weighs a whopping 9lbs. 13oz - almost 4.5kg - and is 21 3/4 inches (55cm) long.

She was born in an LA hospital and is the first child for Simpson and her fiance, football player Eric Johnson. They have been engaged since 2010.

Following a pregnancy that seemed to last 40 months rather than 40 weeks, Jessica Simpson gave birth on Tuesday (May 1) to a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.
